Today on BRStv, we have a brand new episode of our series, BRStv Investigates. In this series, we explore popular reefing theories, products, methods, and what the manuals are missing, with a focus on putting them to the test!

For those of us who have ventured down the path of trying to keep SPS corals, many of us have tried to figure out what PAR is the best. There's so many tanks that showcase awesome looking SPS that are growing out of the water and extremely vibrant, but how can we replicate that in our own reef tanks?

In today's episode of BRStv Investigates, Ryan explains what we think is the optimal PAR levels for SPS and how we came to that conclusion. He also shows initial data of PAR levels for T5 and Metal Halide hybrid fixtures, that will help develop a baseline for PAR spread and intensity while we attempt to mimic it with LED lighting!

AND... The BRStv Giveaway went so well the last couple of weeks, that we are going to offer you the chance to win reef gear we used EVERY WEEK! Be sure to get signed up and get entered to WIN!

We release a new BRStv Investigates episode each Friday, so don't forget to hit that subscribe button to see what's coming up next!
