Hi Guys,
Im roughly 125-150 miles from most of you and would like to do an experiment with USPS Priority Mail to see if its a valid way to ship to your area. Ive shipped to other locations at similar distances and most of them were delivered next day.

If you pay the shipping ($5) I will send you one green ricordia for free.  The only other thing you will have to do is let me know when the box gets there and how the coral does. If the coral dies I will give you a $5 credit on my website, so its a win win situation.

I only need 2 people and perhaps a third if the result is split.

Thanks Guys,
PM me your paypal addresses and I will send an invoice. Should be easiest this way.

I was thinking about doing this on Thursday or Monday. Which would be better for you guys.

Lets see how these 2 do and we'll go from there. Ill probably ship these out on Monday, please update this thread when you get them. Even if it doesnt work, i think expressmail is only like $15 this close. Its just nice to be able to buy 1 frag and have it shipped for $5. I myself always find myself buying things I dont really need or want just to justify the shipping cost.

Just FYI

UPS ground gets there overnight and is like $10-$12

Cheapest i have found. Covers most of the northeast.

UPS is pretty good in our zone, but the packages always come in colder for some reason. I have better luck second day with the post office than with overnight shipping via UPS. Other times of the year it doesnt matter that much, but in the winter is when I ship most of my packages and Ive had much better results with USPS. I think it may have something to do with the post office facilities and vehicles bieng more climate controlled than UPS.

I only shipped one of them and it arrived second day. It was really cold and did not make it. I think UPS ground may be a better option, but its only a few bucks cheaper than expressmail.

Did you try adding a few of those little hand and foot warmer packs to the box?

UPS ground gets here next day for under $10

Never had any issues with them and i have had stuff shipped from NJ NYC as well as shipping down there.

Worth a try. Cool
